Cas Mut is a house of materials without make-up. The concrete was left exposed, with the imprint of the formwork visible and the pour joints forming part of the drawing of the façade. Beside it, a dry-stone wall holds back the slope and a tropical timber deck resolves the whole of the pool area. Three materials, three textures, and no finish covering them up.

The main frontage is a large two-storey glazed panel with dark framing, leaving the living room and kitchen turned entirely towards the pool. Above, the slab cantilevers just enough that at midday the shadow falls on the glass and not on the deck.

The house steps down with the slope, so each level has its own outdoor space. Around it, the pine wood and native planting reach the edge of the plot: from inside, no other building is visible.
